1. Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD,choose you this day whom ye will serve...but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
You can choose your own master.
Romans 7:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
James 3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. SC 44 These "bits" can turn us: The love of money, the desire for wealth, reputation and worldly honor, a life of selfish ease, freedom from responsibility. These must be broken.

Jeremiah 42:6 Whether it be good (pleasing, or whether it be evil (displeasing), we will obey the voice of the LORD our God, to whom we send thee; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the LORD our God.
Proverbs 30:17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.

Exodus 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. 21 Be aware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. 22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.
Notice that priests, kingdom, and holy nation are not capitalized. They are adjectives not titles.
