The Forward Look
Jesus is coming the scriptures assure,
Coming to liberate those who endure.
The Spirit is working to make us pure,
Save us from sin, and it’s seductive lure.
We hope to be found without spot of a sin
The Holy Spirit of Jesus within.
With Jesus our Savior and nearest of kin
To enter the glory eternal with Him.
So watch and be sober the night is far spent
Carry his message wherever we’re sent
And study to know what the word has meant
Mansions of glory exchange for our tent.
