The years are slipping by for us
Some happy and some sad,
We’ve learned to face them and not fuss
Till sunshine makes us glad.

In looking back across the years
I see some joys, I see some tears,
But hope is strong within my heart
That we have seen the hardest part.

And so we hope, and so we trust
Come what may, or come what must,
The hand of God is on the helm
He’ll bring us safe within His realm.
