In His Care, My Trust

Why should I dread the final end,
Secure in peace and rest;
Lead on to joys that never end,
And trusting I am blessed.

Lead on dear Lord, and on and on,
The way of life I know,
It’s all included in thy Son,
In Him we live and grow.

In resting sweetly in His love,
My future quite secure;
So rest the Spirit peaceful dove.
My fortress shall endure.
