Rain
Because man kind has sinned
A curse as rain came down,
But Pentecostal showers
Brought God’s blessing down.
God sends his rain to bless
And we his love confess,
The fields refreshed with rain
He’ll bless the earth again.
The church is waiting long
The promise for our day;
And with triumphant song
We greet that brand new day.
When Holy Spirit filled
His church will fitted be,
With holy unction thrilled
Their own Dear Lord to see.
Then ever with the Lord
In Jesus grace complete,
We have his promised word
We’ll sit at Jesus feet.
