Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool:
What temple can you build for me
as good as that?

My hand has made both earth and skies, and they are mine.
Yet I will look with pity on the man who has a humble
and a contrite heart, who trembles at my word.

Isaiah 66:1, 2   LB

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God."

Jesus used the word "church" on only two occasions according to the King James version.
They are recorded in Matthew 16:16-19 and Matthew 18:17.

Jesus spoke often of the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God.  He described it to his disciples and commissioned them to proclaim it to others.

Matthew 10:5  These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying....
v7 as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you,"  said Jesus -- Matthew 6:33

It is a collection of Bible texts which tell of the kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven.

I believe the kingdom of God/heaven has always been, is now, and will always be.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.        John 3:3

I believe that in every organized Christian church, there is both a kingdom of men and the kingdom of
heaven/God at work.  Some people will see only the people and their organization, others will be aware of God at work through individuals.

Warnings:

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you....there are contentions among you....[You say] I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.  Is Christ divided?  Was Paul crucified for you? Or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?       Corinthians 1:10–13

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.            Exodus 20:3

Too often churches and preachers are worshiped above God and his will.
Read the Bible yourself.  Seek wisdom and understanding with knowledge.
Use a Concordance or on line word search of the Bible to find texts on your chosen subject.
Trust God but not your own opinions or those of prominent others too highly.

Mark 13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not...23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.  24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

Matthew 7:20  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Galatians 5:22, Hebrews 12:11, 13:15, James 3:18

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, meaning: look you brain washed church people, the kingdom of God is within you. (or not)

Everyone can benefit from instruction.  Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and the other Bible writers were great instructors.  The greatest was Jesus who they quoted as they wrote.  Good preachers, teachers, and friends quote him too.  You may want to join a group for stimulation to study but only God the Father, Son, and  Holy Spirit are Supreme.  Only Jesus is a perfect example for us.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
