The teaching of the Kingdom of Yahweh (Kingdom of Heaven) is the theme of the Gospel and the most preeminent subject in the Old and New Testaments.

We know that the Lord told the people of his day to pray for the Kingdom to come, even though the Kingdom was said to be at hand at the time of our Lord’s earthly ministry. Yet it has been, and still is, the most misunderstood subject in the Bible. We find long standing church members from all denominations that know next to nothing about this subject.

Ministers often forget that the four Gospels are called the Gospels of the Kingdom, and that the only message that we were instructed to preach was the Gospel of the Kingdom of Yahweh: “And Yasha went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people,” Matthew 4:23.

“And Yasha went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and everydisease among the people,” Matthew 9:35.

“And as ye go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give,” Matthew 10:7-8.

“But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of Yahweh, then the Kingdom of Yahweh is come unto you,” Matthew 12:28.

“Now after that John was put in prison, Yasha came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of Yahweh, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of Yahweh is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel,” Mark 1:14-15.

“And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the Kingdom of Yahweh come with power,” Mark 9:1.

“Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the Kingdom of Yahweh as a little child, he shall not enter therein,” Mark 10:15.

“And Yasha looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh! And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Yasha answered again, and said unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh,” Mark 10:23-25.

“And he said unto them, I must preach the Kingdom of Yahweh to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee,” Luke 4:43-44.

“And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the Kingdom of Yahweh: and the twelve were with him,” Luke 8:1.

“Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the Kingdom of Yahweh, and to heal the sick,” Luke 9:1-2.

“And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knows that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the Kingdom of Yahweh; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom,” Luke 12:29-32.

“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the Kingdom of Yahweh should come, he answered them and said, The Kingdom of Yahweh cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the Kingdom of Yahweh is within you,” Luke 17:20-21.

“For the Kingdom of Yahweh is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost,” Romans 14:17.

“Preaching the Kingdom of Yahweh, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Yasha Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him,” Acts 28:31.

The Kingdom of Yahweh is mentioned approximately two hundred times in the New Testament, indicating that it is a very important subject. Yet many ministers never mention the word. For the most part, the Kingdom has been replaced with the modern concept of heaven and is completely passed over by most modern denominations.

Please notice, there is a distinction made between Yahweh and his Anointed. As we think of our Savior we must continually keep in mind that the Anointing (Christ in the Greek, or Messiah in the Hebrew) made and still makes the differences. When we read the Bible, we realize that we must have a go- between (mediator). The Anointed Word is that way maker—we will never make it without the Anointing.

The theory, that the life that was in Christ left this planet when our Savior vanished from sight is a myth. He came as a man and became the head of the new creation. If we could have kept sight of his humanity, we would have worshipped it in our carnality. But what we sometimes fail to see is the Spirit of Life that raised the Savior out of that earth’s tomb is ever present with us today.

Though the man Yasha walked the shores of Galilee in his flesh body, we will know him no more after the flesh, but we know the Spirit of that man is ever present with us now and available to us in the same measure. That same Spirit is called the Anointing (Christ) and if you are born from above, he is in you. And if he is not in you, you are yet dead in your sins and trespasses. It is the Anointing that breaks the yoke of sin.

I assume you will allow me to say that Yasha was the Anointed Word, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,” John 1:14, but will you allow me to say the Word was the deity, Yahweh (John 1:1)? And if it was, then it is now? The Word is light and is also our lifefor in him was life; and the life was the light of men (John 1:4).

Now may I go farther and say that if you are a Christian you have become light?  “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),” Ephesians 5:8-9.

If Christians understood that they are now functioning in the Kingdom of Heaven (Kingdom of Yahweh), and that they are in an unlimited realm of power and love at the present time, there would be an obvious difference in their expressions, witnessing, and goals. How many read the scripture concerning the streets of gold and the River of Life and envision it on earth?

“And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from Yahweh,” Revelation 21:9-10.

I looked up Strong’s definition of “descending,” it is #2597 in Greek, katabaino (kat-ab-ah-ee-no) and came from #2596 and the base of #939, to descend (literally or figuratively):

If Holy Jerusalem was coming down we must assume it was not being demoted, but that it was, in all of its perfection, coming down to be established upon the earth.

Another thing we should be careful to remember is that, “He that believes on me (Yasha Christ), as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water,”John 7:38.

If we have an illusionary picture of a beautiful river with gold streets leading down to its banks, I imagine it we have a hunger for truth, we will rejoice that we have within us a river that is capable of flowing out to those who are dwelling in dry and parched deserts. We should all pray that our river will burst forth and flow.
