Jesus’ disciples had the special opportunity to associate with Him closely and spoke quite well for Him.
The ten commandments were written by God’s own finger and did not need to change, but the ceremonial law was made obsolete by the death of Jesus the Lamb of God.. Some of the traditional Old Testament law was corrected by the teaching and example of Jesus. Footnote 3
The Holy Spirit has inspired, taught, and comforted from the beginning of time, and is doing so now, and will continue through eternity. Footnote 4
